Which politician should Mitt Romney consider as his running mate?

Romney, who’s seeking a second term in office, has been eyeing a possible running mate for months.

He’s already met with former Massachusetts Gov.

Deval Patrick, former Massachusetts Rep. Charlie Baker and former Arkansas Gov.

Mike Huckabee.

But now, a new report claims that Romney is considering a number of potential candidates.

The Washington Post’s Greg Sargent reported on Thursday that Romney has met with Patrick, Baker and Huckabee, among others.

The report also claims that he has had several meetings with former Alaska Gov.

Sarah Palin.

Romney also met with two Republican House members, who were also on the shortlist, and is said to be considering several others.

A Romney spokeswoman told the Post that the candidate “has not met with anyone from the Senate or House yet.”
